Why Make this Recipe:
We love making this Original Chex Party Mix for our family gatherings, holiday parties or just for a snack. The combination of the flavors and the amazing crunch makes it an addicting snack.
I love that I can combine ingredients that are already have especially leftover cereal, nuts, pretzels and seasoning.
Ingredients
- Rice Chex Cereal
- Corn Chex Cereal
- Butter, melted
- Wheat Chex Cereal
- Mini Pretzels
- Onion Powder
- Mixed Nuts
- Cashews
- Worcestershire Sauce
- Seasoned Salt
- Garlic Powder

The beauty of this recipe is you really can use anything you prefer. You can omit ingredients you don’t care for and substitute something else. The key is to just end up with the same amount of cups the recipe calls for.

Step by Step Instructions
Step 1 – First, preheat oven to 300 degrees. Next, set out a rimmed cookie sheet. Melt butter in microwave-safe bowl.
Step 2 – In a large bowl, combine cereal, nuts and pretzels.
Step 3 – Add Worcestershire sauce and seasoned salt, whisk until well combined. Pour butter mixture over cereal mixture and mix until well coated.
Step 4 – Spread evenly onto cookie sheet. Bake for 30-40 minutes, stirring halfway in between. Remove from oven and allow to cool.

- Baking Sheet – To easily serve this delicious snack mix, we recommend lining the baking sheet with parchment paper. It also helps for cleaning up.
- Melting Butter – Melt the butter in a large microwavable bowl. This makes it easy to add the cereal and the remaining ingredients to completely cover.
- Baking Chex Mix – While baking the snack mix, we recommend stirring halfway through cooking time. This allows for the mixture to heat completely and with the best texture.
